The shared inbox that
can't lose your email.
Sharemail puts comments, assignments, shared drafts, and rules on top of your team's Gmail. Your mail stays in Gmail — we never sit in the delivery path, every action mirrors back two-way, and if you ever leave, you lose nothing.
No signups yet. No waitlist tricks. We'll open when it's ready.
Gmail stays in charge of delivery
Sharemail never inserts itself into MX records or mail relays. Sending goes through the Gmail API from your own address, receiving lands in Gmail first. If every Sharemail server caught fire, your email would keep flowing.
True two-way sync
Archive, trash, spam, reopen — every action in Sharemail mirrors back to Gmail through a retried queue, and inbound changes flow the other way. Teammates who live in Gmail see exactly the same state you do.
Leaving costs you nothing
Your mailbox never left Gmail, so cancelling means disconnecting — not ransoming years of email out of someone else's proprietary store. Comments, tags, and assignments come with you as a full export.
Collaborate on email without forwarding it around
The features teams actually love in a shared inbox — running in production today on our own support desk.
Comments & @mentions in the thread
Discuss any conversation right in its timeline — no forwarding, no CC chains. @mention a teammate and they're subscribed, notified, and looking at the same context you are.
Assignments & round-robin rules
One owner per conversation, an Unassigned queue per inbox, and a WHEN/IF/THEN rule builder with round-robin routing that skips whoever's marked busy.
Shared drafts with collision locks
Teammates see your draft take shape, and an editor lock means two people can never silently overwrite each other's reply. Presence shows who's viewing and who's typing.
Snooze, send later, undo send
Snooze wakes at the exact minute and cancels itself when the customer replies first. Schedule sends, and take back a mistake within your configurable undo window.
Search that includes comments
One query spans messages and your team's internal discussion,
with Gmail-style operators (from:, tag:,
is:open, in:comments). Half-remembered
"someone mentioned this in a note" moments are findable.
Feels like email, not tickets
Your customers write emails, not support tickets. Sharemail keeps the familiar inbox shape — templates, signatures, tags, stars, keyboard shortcuts — without burying conversations under ticket ceremony.
Find it — even when "it" was said in a comment
Legacy tools search the emails and lose the discussion around them. Sharemail indexes both, so the answer your teammate wrote in an internal note two months ago is one query away.
The things we will never do
Every one of these has burned real teams at other shared-inbox vendors. We've written the full list down as a public pledge — hold us to it.
Never hold your data hostage
No "pay or lose access to your own email history." Your mail is in your Gmail, and everything Sharemail adds is exportable — including after you cancel.
Never gate table stakes by tier
Rules, search, shared drafts, attachment sizes — every feature on every plan, and the public API will land on every plan too when it ships. We will never remove a shipped feature and sell it back to you as an upgrade.
Never force a redesign on you
Big UI changes ship opt-in with a revert window. Your team's muscle memory is a feature; we don't break it for a rebrand.
Every feature, from $6. Fair forever.
Start with a 14-day full-featured trial — no card required. Then flat per-user prices from $6/user/mo with every feature on every plan, monthly billing allowed, seats reducible any time — and unlimited free collaborator seats for the contractors and part-timers other tools make you pay full price for.
We're almost ready.
Sharemail already runs our own company's support inbox every day. We're polishing the onboarding before opening it up.
